BIOGRAPHY

Jane Paradise’s work captures the profound and intimate connections between people and their environments worldwide. Whether momentary or permanent, the images reflect a deep felt longing for “home.”

Paradise has shown with the International Biennial of Fine Art and Documentary Photography in Buenos Aires, Malaga and Berlin as well as at the Gallery of Photography in Ireland. Her photographs are in the collection of the Southeast Museum of Photography and in many private collections in the United States and Europe.

Her featured and solo exhibits include one person shows at the Griffin Museum of Photography, Art Space in Raleigh, Simmons College, Galatea Fine Art, and the Houston Center for Photography.

The book “Of Strength and Grace: Elegy for Love” features Paradise's photography paired with Tom Whayne's poetry. Her photographs have also been included in “Summertime” by Chronicle Books.
